Thanks to exclusive technology, the silver ions included in Tarifold's Sterifold display pockets deter microbial growth by eliminating micro-organisms on the product. How does it work? Display pockets are utilized by many different people throughout the course of a day. This is how the surface of these pockets serve as a microorganism (bacteria, molds, yeast, or fungi) transfer site through regular contact. Sterifold display pockets will release antimicrobial silver ions every time bacteria, mold, or fungi appears on the surface of the pockets. Silver ions will do the following to the microorganism: attack the cell wall; interrupt metabolism; prevent reproduction on the product. For optimal protection, we recommend the Sterifold display pockets be replaced every two years.
