Display pockets are utilized by many different people throughout the course of a day. This is how the surface of these pockets serve as a microorganism (bacteria, molds, yeast, or fungi) transfer site through regular contact. Sterifold display pockets will release antimicrobial silver ions every time bacteria, mold, or fungi appears on the surface of the pockets.
